Join the Pizza & Pagers on May 5 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. for a discussion of Project 17 by Laurie Faria Stolarz. A group of teens decide to film a documentary in an abandoned insane asylum outside of Boston. If you liked the movies, The Blair Witch Project and Shutter's Island, you will probably like this book. Creepy!

Midnighters #1 The Secret Hour by Scott Westerfeld

It's not too late to join Pizza & Pages for the book discussion of Scott Westerfeld's thrilling first novel in the Midnighters series! Read award-wining The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and then join the Pizza & Pages book discussion this week on Thursday, February 3 at 7:00 p.m.

Learn what it's like to grow up in high school through the eyes of Charlie as he writes to a "Dear Friend" about the drama, angst, and perils of teenage life.

If you missed Pizza & Pages last month, be sure to pick-up a copy of The Maze Runner @the Library! This action-packed first novel by James Dashner was a hit. It is the first installment in The Scorch Trials Trilogy so if you liked The Maze Runner, you'll be happy to read more!

Not your average Pizza & Pages

This is what we've all been waiting for! The highly anticipated 3rd & final book of the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins is being released on August 24th!
MOCKINGJAY!!!

We're celebrating at Baldwin on Thursday, September 9th from 6:30-8:30 pm. The evening will include online Mockingjay games, crafts/situations by “districts,” production of a digital show of the event & of course pizza!

Unfortunately, the first 20 free copies have already been claimed, but go out and buy one on August 24th so you can read it before September 9th and join us for the party!

Pizza & Pages October 1

Great to see everyone at the last Pizza & Pages. We discussed "Peak" and watched part of an Imax movie on Everest! Amazing!

Don't miss the October meeting...we're reading an award-winner by Orson Scott Card, "Ender's Game". In honor of Teen Read Week's 2009 theme, "Read Beyond Reality", we thought we'd try a science fiction title.
